Throttle can increase your internet performance up to 200%!! This is what the publisher
says. I didn't see any increase in my internet speed. As I realized is that this
tool is much more for dial-up connections. The internet connection speeds up to
2Kb/s - 5Kb/s on dial-up. But on cable connection I saw no difference. Throttle
makes no modifications to your hardware, but modifies multiple Windows registry
entries and system files. Theoretically this should increase your modem's performance,
because Windows was setup to work with local networks. The interface is very simple.
Every person that knows what a PC is can use this interface. With the help of a
slider you can select the acceleration you want. Unfortunately the fastest option
is not available unless you have registered the product. After you have chosen the
settings, the process will start. In just a few seconds the process is complete.
You just have to restart your PC and everything is done.
